Track 1: Radiation Oncology


Radiation remedy or radiotherapy, frequently shortened is a remedy using ionizing radiation, generally handed as part of cancer treatment to control or kill nasty cells and typically delivered by a direct accelerator. Radiation remedy may be restorative in a number of types of cancer if they're localized to one area of the body. It may also be used as part of adjuvant remedy, to help excrescence rush after surgery to remove a primary nasty excrescence. Radiation remedy is synergistic with chemotherapy and has been used before during and after chemotherapy in susceptible cancers.
